Historic water tower
Romantic holiday flat in historic water tower with 95 stairs
For those in love, for friends, for the happy and those seeking happiness, a hiding place, a nest at the top of the trees. A place to enjoy the togetherness. A perfect hideaway.
Max Graf von Hahn had this tower built around 1900 as a water tower for Serrahn Castle, according to the plans of the architect Carl Wagner. The building plans were presented in 1903 in publications as a prime example of the architecture of the time.
Today you can live in the tower on approx. 70 m², distributed over 4 floors. 95 steps lead up to the tower room at a height of 18 metres. A small but fine kitchen is at your disposal, as well as a fireplace for romantic evenings. Invite yourself to have breakfast for two on the balcony or to lie in the bathtub. You will want to stay more than one day.
The holiday apartment is furnished with wardrobe, writing room, bathroom with bathtub, bedroom with double bed, fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, radio and fireplace. Surrounded by woods and lakes.
